If you are Bahraini, currently unemployed, not enrolled in a fulltime educational program, and over 18 years, you can apply for this program.
Participants are required to possess motivation for self-development and strong willfulness to begin work.
Participating in this program requires commitment from the jobseeker to regularly meet and cooperate with their assigned Jobs+ Program center and participate in the interventions and training courses to prepare them for an employment opportunity.
The program aims to match jobseekers to a wide variety of jobs in any sectors, depending on the jobseekers’ skills and qualifications.
The Ministry of Labour will pause nominations for job placements while the jobseeker is enrolled in the Jobs+ Program. However, unemployment benefits will continue as usual in cases where the jobseeker is entitled to them.
No, participating in this program does not affect eligibility for unemployment compensation. Those eligible will continue to receive unemployment compensation from the Ministry of Labour throughout their participation in the program.
